This is a safety net for Girls Inc. alumni pursuing post-secondary education. The purpose of this award is to provide financial resources that would allow and support Girls Inc. alumni furthering their post-secondary education while honoring the life and legacy of Margaret Britton, a life member of the Owensboro Branch of AAUW, a state-wide leader in women’s rights, and a member of the Girls Inc. Board of Trustees. Alumni should submit a request outlining the need. If she is an active student, she must be maintaining a 2.5 GPA.
